Bob created this black and white engraving in the late 1960s. A limited edition of five prints was issued. I have one of the prints! Bob did not know I had it for a long time until we started putting the web site together and I told him about having it. It depicts his work shoes coming home from the Mill (Allegheny Ludlum Steel) in Brackenridge, PA. They were definitely a reminder of those days which he talks about in the interview. Knowing the "mill" and how dirty it was and how hard the employees worked, I appreciate Bob's rendering of the "Work Shoes." I'm so very happy that I did not have to go through what he had to go through at the "mill."
