We live in Vergennes, Vermont. We are the smallest city in the United States, by size. It is 1 mile square. We have 275 students in our K-6 school. This year we have adopted a school in Mississippi that was hit by [Hurricane] Katrina. We have maple, oak, birch and Christmas trees in Vermont. We make maple syrup from the maple sap. We milk cows to make Ben and Jerry's ice cream and Cabot cheddar cheese. Lake Champlain separates us from New York [state].
