Hello! We are a Second Grade class at Cedar Grove Elementary in Smyrna, TN. Smyrna is about 15 minutes southeast of Nashville. Nashville is known as Music City because so many country music stars record here. Presidents James K. Polk and Andrew Jackson lived in the Nashville area. We like to cheer on the Tennessee Titans who play in Nashville even though they're not doing so well this season. Our Governor is Phil Bredesen. Our state's nickname is the Volunteer State. Go Vols! We look forward to hearing from you.
