Kansas

Kansas where I live is known for Old Abilene town, which is where Wyatt Earp lived and was sheriff for a while.  Also Ike Eisenhower is buried in Abilene and they have his presidential library there.  Kansas is also known for the Wizard of Oz and they have a museum here in Kansas.  K State is here in Manhattan Kansas as well as in Salina they have a beautiful campus.  I lived in Abilene for 9 years before moving 30 minutes away to Salina which is a little larger city.  It is known for its Tony's Pizza Factory, as well as Phillips Lighting that makes light bulbs.  It is a town of about 50,000 people.
