Arizona

The full moon as seen from Arizona. Have you ever wondered why the moon appears so large when it is close to the horizon? It is not really closer to the Earth but because you can see the horizon (or buildings or mountains) in the foreground, the moon appears larger than it does once it rises higher in the sky.
