Syria

Greetings from Syria. We are a small secondary school of about 700 students. We live in Aleppo in Syria. Our capital, Damascus, is the most ancient capital in the world. Syria has a variety of geographical places from the desert to plains, mountains and beaches. The government pays special attention to tourism. There are many historical places related to different areas like Palmyra, Bosra, Ugarit, Ibla and the Kingdom of Mary. We plant wheat, corn and cotton. Apleppo is also know for pistachio, which is in Arabic named after it “Halab”.
