Las Ramblas

The Ramblas is a unique spot in Barcelona where tourists and locals sit and relax at an outdoor cafe or stroll along the street which leads to the Port and the Columbus monument. Up and down Las Ramblas you will find various items for sale including flowers, plants, birds, and a variety of artwork and souvenirs. You will also find living statues lining the street. Some really look like bronze or marble statues! Others are quite interesting and pose so still you might not notice they are alive. It is often difficult to take a photograph of them as they will turn their back or hide their face unless you tip them.
