Not your average Post Office, the Spanish Correos building in the Plaza de Cibeles is palatial! This beautiful Palacio de Comunicaciones was built at the beginning of the 20th Century by Spanish architect Antonio Palacios. It is a mixture of many different styles of architecture. There is a Postal and Telegraphic museum inside where you can see the history of the Spanish Postal service and the evolution of technology from the early telegraphs and telephones to the present.
