On this postcard you can see one of the newest sights for people coming to Berlin. It is a Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe.

You feel very lost walking around the columns which go up and down and give you a very insecure feeling.

Underneath there is an exhibition hall with many photos.

We think it is a good thing to have this Memorial to remind us that such things should never happen again anywhere in the world.

In the background you can see the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag, so that Memorial is right in the centre. The American Embassy is going to be built across the street on the free space.
