Songs of the Cetaceans

Beluga

BELUGA WHALE
(to the tune of "If your Happy and You Know It")

If you like Beluga Whale, clap your hands
If he's white as a sail, clap your hands
If his head's shaped like a melon
His other name you feel like telling
If that name is Sea Canary, clap your hands

If he's 18 feet long, stomp your feet
If the Limeys liked his song, stomp your feet
If he's only got one blow hole
And can live to 30 years old
If he has a dorsal ridge, stomp your feet

If he travels in a pod, cry ahoy!
If he eats pike and cod, cry ahoy!
Yes, he swims in Arctic waters
What do you call his sons and daughters?
If you call that babe a calf, cry ahoy!

If Beluga's a cetacean, do all three
If you know this information, do all three
When he's born he is dark brown
Sometimes a river he swims down
If Beluga's a cetacean do all three.
