Hands Across the World

What a unique and original project to help students learn about life in other lands. After distributing all of the pictures we assembled a large display at our annual culture fair that I have helped coordinate for 29 years. I emailed all of the teachers and welcomed them to the States or another location and sit over a cup of coffee. The Internet provides so many wonderful opportunities for educators to explore and share with others around the world. It has helped shrink the world and hopefully will bring us a step closer to peace and understanding among all people.
