While still teaching school, Bob was looking for miniature furnishings to put into his daughter's dollhouse.  He couldn't find what he wanted so he decide to make his own.  This tiny figurine is only an inch and 1/4 tall!  Bob sculpted it, in his garage, with a nail and a screwdriver from a piece of dentist's wax.  He took the wax sculpture to a local jeweler who made a mold and cast it in bronze.  Although Bob was disappointed by the loss of detail when it was cast, this little lady was the beginning of a new phase in his career: miniature sculptor.
