What is a Brat? Well, some of you may answer: "My little brothers and sisters who get in my stuff." Others will say: "My bossy big brother/sister!" You might even say that someone called YOU a brat. Some of you will say: "I am a Brat and I am proud to be one!" This page is about the group of kids (now grownups) who are proud to be BRATs. These are the kids who can not give a simple answer to the question, "Where are you from?" They moved a lot growing up because of their mother or father's job. Unlike birds and whales, and other animals who migrate during certain times of the year, these kids might have moved right in the middle of a school year, leaving behind all their new friends, and catching up in a new school, in a new city, maybe in a new country. These BRATs might be children of military parents, government workers or diplomats, business men and women, even Hollywood actors and directors. Some BRATs grow up to follow in their parent's footsteps and do the same kind of work. Others follow completely different career paths. Learn what it was like for them growing up and who they grew up to be.
