We have the Lefty Frizzell Museum - it contains photos and memorabilia of Corsicana native Lefty Frizzell - who changed the face of Country & Western Music in the 1950s. We had the first oil well.

Caption: Becoming the 28th state on December 29, 1845, Texas is ranked second in size among all the states. Austin is the Texas capital, while Houston is the state's largest city. More than 4,000 kinds of wild flowers grow in Texas. The Bluebonnet, with it's blue bonnet-shaped petals, is the state's official flower. Texas' official state bird is the mockingbird.
