We are a class of 14 3rd graders at Oakland Academy in Portage, MI. We like reading, science, and social studies a lot! We also like art, soccer, reading with our reading buddies and playing games.

We live in Michigan. It is shaped like a mitten. Our state's capital is Lansing. Our state bird is the Robin. Our climate is warm in the summer, and cold in the winter. We have forests, farmland, beaches and the Great Lakes. Michigan is a great place to live.
