Louisiana

About one and a half miles north of New Orleans is our little town, Roseland. It has one stoplight, one neighborhood grocery, and two locally owned restaurants and one take-out. Louisiana folks like to eat crawfish and watermelon in the summer time and gumbo, grits, oatmeal, or cream of wheat in the winter. There's no public transportation in our parish so most people own cars and live far from their jobs.
