California

California has a wonderful climate for farming. The state is well known for its produce. Riverside County grew because of the citrus industry. Oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruit and other citrus are still grown throughout the area, however, hills once covered in citrus groves have been replaced by housing. When I moved to Corona (the next city west of the city of Riverside), I loved the smell of orange blossoms emanating from the hills of South Corona. What a great smell!
