Greetings from our 5th grade class in Los Angeles. We are in the 2nd largest school district in the USA. Our school has 640 students. We are a year round school with two 6 week holidays. Most of our students are of Latino decent. Sacramento is our state capitol. We get very little precipitation and our temperature never drops to the freezing point-unless you go to the mountains where you can ski in the winter. We are close to the ocean and the desert. Los Angeles is a large city (over 3 million people) with lots of things to do including visiting theme parks, the zoo, parks, movie production companies, sporting events and museums.
