Hello from Tucson Arizona! We live in the desert. We have rattlesnakes and scorpions. The desert has lots of sand. Tucson is normally hot, but it is starting to get cold. Some people talk in Spanish because we live near Mexico. We can visit old Tucson, where they film old westerns. The Grand Canyon was made a long time ago by the Colorado River.

Caption: Tarantula (Aphonopelma species). Tarantulas live in burrows. Their bite, though painful, is not deadly. Males often battle with one another. They are more grotesque appearing than dangerous.
