Syria

These are the water wheels of Hama, almost in the middle between Damascus, the capital, and Aleppo in the north. They are on Orontes. This river runs from the south to the north unlike the other rivers in Syria which run from the north to the south. These wheels are made from wood, and they go back to the ancient history of Syria.
