The Horsehead Nebula. This multiple-exposure, charge-coupled device (CCD) image of the Horsehead Nebula was taken by Native American middle school students using the automated 24-inch Newtonian (reflecting) telescope on Mount Wilson, California. The students were assisted by the College of the Redwoods in Eureka, California.
