Wild Life
The lowest saltwater lake in the Antilles, the Lago Enriquillo, lies in the southwest of the Dominican Republic. It's the home of a small population of crocodiles and countless lizards that are living on its shores. The lake was named after Enriquillo, a Native American, who fought successfully against the Spaniards in the 16th century.
