Hello from Southside School in Houlton, Maine. Our school has grades 4, 5, 6 and about 300 students. We like living in Aroostook County because we see the four seasons and in the winter we can ski, snow sled, go sliding, build snowmen or have snowball fights. In the fall our school takes 3 weeks off for potato harvest. During this break we can pick potatoes for local farmers. Farmers also grow a lot of corn and wheat in our area. We have mountains, hills, forests, and lakes where we live. We see many moose, deer, fox and bear in our area. We live 10 minutes from the Canadian border. We like it here.
